Planning in advance, wrt to work I prioritize based on the needs and work on them. Some days I go with the flow.

I maintain three daily logs: Personal log: capturing 3 core personal activities or chores to be completed. Project log: two major milestones to complete by EOD Job log: two major deliverables to be completed at workplace by EOD

For the first time, I started using google to set my work routine for the weekdays. It automatically suggests the time frame for me. I think you can try it for fun, and it works much better than deciding in your mind.

I mostly have an idea of what I'll be working today, the day before. I'll set aside 1-2 hours to be focussed on getting the tasks done. Then work on any ad-hoc tasks that come up!
