Hemingway's short-advice on writing π (fishing trip)
If we get into a fish see exactly what it is that everyone does.
If you get a kick out of it while he is jumping π£ remember back until you see exactly what the action was that gave you the emotion.
Whether it was the rising of the line β from the water and the way it tightened like a fiddle string β€ until drops π§ started from it or the way he smashed and threw water when he jumped.
Remember what the noises π₯ were and what was said. Find what gave you the emotion; what the action was that gave you the excitement.
Then write it down making it clear so the reader will see it too and have the same feeling that you had. Thatβs a five-finger exercise.

A great reminder for writers to pay close attention to the details and emotions they experience and to incorporate them into their writing. By doing so, writers can create vivid descriptions that allow readers to experience the same emotions and sensations that the writer did. This is an important aspect of creating engaging and impactful writing.

For me, it was the idea that you could WRITE BETTER (and) train yourself to be attentive to the little moments of a trip/journey at the same time! Loved the time + space imagery of the fishing line tightening β¨
