Hey all. What is the one thing you learned the hard way? A mistake that was costly and could have been avoided. The goal is to share these with other makers/founders to avoid these mistakes. Good karma goes a long way :)

If you're struggling with product/market fit - don't quit - you may just need to pivot or tweak.

@jasbanwait Thanks Jas. Would love to know your experience about this in detail. Did you have to pivot from the original plan in the last minute? Did it cost you revenue/time?

@g_m_mehdi my mistake was that I shut down businesses (multiple times) even though I had something -whether that be an audience, community, assets, customers - I could have taken that and spun it another way vs shut it down.. so I guess I am a cautionary tale.
