we are now using rocket.chat (migrated recently from Slack and are quite happy considering it's free, open source and self-hosted)

@jusef I had not heard of rocket.chat and I checked it out after I read your comment. Looks pretty cool!

@teemu_puuska the version we're using does not support so I've not tested it. But I think it recently introduced a video chat feature: https://rocket.chat/docs/user-gu...

We use a combination of Slack and emails

We're all about Slack. We use Quip and Trello for organising, but we don't email internally and keep everything in Slack.
