Downtown is a ´digital city centre’ that brings frequency and reach to communities and retail organisations. This provides direct and uncomplicated support for offline retailers in the Corona crisis. The technology behind Downtown offers a functional sales and delivery infrastructure for your entry into digital commerce. As a non-commercial project, Downtown can be used completely free of charge by all interested cities, municipalities and organisations as well as by retailers and customers. Downtown is a shopware AG project, which was has been supported as a pro bono initiative by numerous digital enthusiasts and online commerce experts . The goal of the project is the creation of a functional platform that can quickly support local trade. The software has been developed as an open source project on GitHub and is freely available for use by anyone and everyone. Technically, Downtown is based on Shopware 6 (http://https://github.com/shopwa...). Downtown offers an uncomplicated entry into online trading for all retailers who are currently strongly affected by the Corona crisis. The entire value chain is represented, from the creation of products via app and barcode scanner, to a minified admin area for the maintenance of orders, to legal security, digital payment and local shipping. Besides the sale of products, services and vouchers can also be offered. You can find the source code of Downtown under: https://github.com/shopwareDownt... Feel free to ask questions 👍
