I have a project called Girişimzel. Entrepreneurship-focused curation site. The main subject I focus on is "high quality", so I consume the content I share first myself. If I cannot consume it myself, I take suggestions from entrepreneurs I know and trust. And I'm sharing it on this list. At a meeting I attended last week, an entrepreneur I know suggested a documentary. I started watching that night. A documentary that expands your horizons insanely! After this documentary, I reconsidered my actions. I will describe these actions at the end of the article. Documentary Name: Undercover Billionaire https://www.girisimzel.com/documentary#undercover-billionaire Documentary Subject: Billionaires hide their identities and try to start a startup where they try to make $100 out of $1 million in 90 days. The first season was perfect! I just finished episode 4 of the second season. It's beyond super! My thoughts and actions after watching the documentary: 1) I realized that it's okay to do service work for a cause. I wasn't doing a freelance job. I've started doing it now. I finished a job last week and got a new job yesterday. With that money I earn, I will attend an event outside the city. I will cover the hotel price, travel fee, and food and beverage fee from this money. 2) I understood the importance of meeting new people in order to grow. That's why I attended the event. To meet and promote my products. 3) I realized that buying and selling bring money. That's why I'm trying to sell old books on Letgo. I haven't sold any yet, but I'll keep trying. With this money I earn, I will cover the advertising fees for my products. 4) I thought everything was the product. In fact, I realized that appearance is important. That's why I replaced my broken glasses first. It was broken 5 times. πŸ˜… Instead of spending money on my looks, I was spending that money on my products. But I've noticed that looks have a strong marketing parameter. I look so cool now. 😏 Before: https://pbs.twimg.com/profile_images/1395792273946841090/Q1oKGlfZ_400x400.jpg After: https://i.hizliresim.com/66elj1v.jpeg My Glasses: https://i.hizliresim.com/a1m2bqo.jpeg Have you watched this documentary? What lessons did you learn? Which ones did you apply? Are there any other documentaries you can recommend? Thank you
