    As many PH users are in the US, launching on a popular holiday like Xmas can have either a low engagement, or you can hack the track and get the product of the day with just 12 upvotes. 🀣 Share your experience in the comments.

    i dont think it will be good for business
    You don't wanna get the product of the day with just 12 upvotes, but be exposed to a real competition that will push you beyond limits and let your product grow, rightπŸ˜‚?

    12 upvotes steal Xmas from grandma's turkey.

    If your goal is to become the product of the day, then you can take a risk. But why become a product of the day if you won't get many users anyway?

    @elenat Good point indeed!

    I think it's a very bad idea. Unless the aim is just to have that "Product of the day" badge. But that's just vanity, at the end of the day you won't have any real impact on your signups or conversions.

    @jacopo_proietti absolutely agree with this point

    I don't think it's a good idea. After all what is worth the 'product of the day' badge if no one saw your product, you got no exposition and no feedback πŸ€”

    I don't think that's a good idea. Not just Xmas, but any holiday, actually.

    I've thought of this question too. I'm glad it's here πŸ˜…

    Not a chance! It won't offer your product a bigger stage to be viewed since most people won't even open Product Hunt on a holiday so big

    @abi_p Yep. It's like coming on stage before the event to take some pictures with letter TED on the background :))

    Definetly not! Who`s thinking about doing this is some kind of a psycho.

    Why is it not a good idea?

    I don't think that's a good idea.
