As an indie developer how can you rank your app?

I have recently launched my AI Author app. I am getting only a few downloads 20-30 / day. Can you guys suggest free strategies to boost downloads? Even to rank higher in keywords in ASO you need to run campaigns to improve its ranking. If you have only a 100$ budget where would you spend it?
